Ambrosia Maple is one of those woods where you never quite know what you're going to find until you start turning it. This piece of Allen Ambrosia Maple had plenty of surprises, with dark streaks and grain patterns left behind by ambrosia beetles.
I gave it a wide, shallow shape that makes it a handy bowl for nuts, candy, or other snacks. It could just as easily hold keys, loose change, or whatever else you need a place for. Or, just leave it empty and enjoy the view!
Dimensions: 8" diameter × 2¼" deep
Weight: 0.5 lb
